Hi i have a 92 td2.7 terrano square head light, what is the max revs the engine will go to as mine will not go over 3700, only tryed it the once. I normaly drive around at 2500 to 3000revs Laurie Ash.

Are you doing this whilst stationary, or through the gears?

I sometimes red line mine through each gear now and again, when warmed up of course, and hold it there for a while to help clear the crud out of the engine.

I often do short journeys and this really helps.

Of course, your mini filter in the injector pump might be partially blocked.

Had id down the Motorway on Sat gave it a blast as it normal for it to travel 40 to 50mph due to the narrow roads and bends. empty motorway sat evening flat out 90mph 3700rpms. so mini filter and new large filter it is then.:thumbs Laurie.

Same with ours after I cleaned it last weekend, it's like a different car now! Getting to the filter was a lot quicker than the first time I did it too :lol
