TomTom boats and green lanes

I was updating my tomtom today and found 2 POI's for boats and greenlanes, so out of curiosity i installed them and went and checked out the nearest one 2 me (about 7 miles away) the tomtom took me straight there, down a single track lane to my start point, which was a fooking footpath:doh

Might give some of the others a try tomorrow never know i may find something interesting if not i get to see alot of footpaths lol

Even OS maps aren't guaranteed - the only kosher sources these days are either county council ROW maps that you have to go and scrute in person, or something like Wayfinder website.

i think we are having a lane day on a differnt forum if will post details here and then you can come along should be sooner rather than latter

a mate has all the lanes mapped out on memory maps and i will see if i can get a copy of the overlays
