Right guys, I have ordered my electric winch last night, so now the tirfor is going for sale. As you all know I got it for £250 with everything you see pictured. I havent actually used it.. It lives in my boot wrapped up in a heavy duty sports bag.

Rick will agree with me how heavy duty the cable is, about 2/3 times the thickness of a good electric winch.

I AM OPEN TO ALL OFFERS!! :naughty

I want it sold to pay for the electric winch I have just bought.

Please be kind :p

Hi Alex, following on from the earlier thread, I doubt anyone without experience of one of these would consider it, due to lack of training in their correct use.:nenau

In the wrong hands, I think we all agree it could be quite dangerous.
I'm sure there is a place for one of these but maybe not for self recovery, whereby a fixed winch would be preferential.

Why not? They are great winches just slow.

I think a tirfor winch without any training/guidance would be safer to use than a electric fixed winch without any training/guidance.

I'm a freshman to both so cant comment. Just hope it sells,:lol

All I can say is it is well maintained and bloody sturdy :thumb2
