Hi all, I'm new to the site and therefore new to the Terrano with a ford badge on it which i recently purchased.

anywho, Can somebody confirm for me whether it is belt/chain or gear driven??
M reg (94) 2.4 petrol as I would like to put my mind at rest!

also it seems to have side steps, decals reading "Maverick 4x4" on both sides of the vehicles plus tints.. Just wondered whether it maybe a different addition to the maverick family e.g ASPEN or something like??????

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Cheers guys. So my petrol is on 98k will the chain ever need changing and if so when?

plus i'll put a pick on here, can anyone tell me whether it's a different edition to the mav's?

Not sure if the online manual covers the petrol....but typically most chains are good for a couple of hundred thousand miles.

If it is a different edition, its only very cosmetic so I wouldn't worry about it.

Mine had done 180k and there was no rattle from the chain. No idea what the service time is though:augie
Mavs like terranos had loads of different models/specs. Just minor equipment upgrades I guess.
