thickness of sheet metal for winch bumper

Hi guys im buying or making winch tray out of 6mm sheet steel but what thickness can I make the bumper out of thanks

Depends on what design it is and how hard you want to hit it :sly
Also how many folds in it etc
Mine's 6mm tray and 4mm elsewhere.

Was thinking ur 1 maybe:sly

The one on my T2 is 5mm all round and has many folds. End result is mega strong
