In your old fuel filter.

I changed the fuel filter yesterday & also dropped the oil with a filter change after 800 or so miles. The next oil change will around 1500 miles & the same there after.
When I've changed my fuel filters in the past I've always emptied them to see what they catch. This was the worst I've seen so far & I've changed quite a few.
The picture doesn't show the bits too well, but some bits were quite large.
I've recently started running on 50/50 veg oil & I guess most of this is what's been cleaned out of the lines.
If veg oil cleans out the fuels lines, then it must also clean the injectors too :nenau

I think it cleans your tank, all the crud that sits at the bottom. When it gets disturbed instead of sinking straight back down it is suspended in the thicker veg oil mix and gets taken upto the filter, thats is what i have been led to belive anyway. There must not be a sock filter or similar in the fuel tank.
