I sold a caravan today, the one i advertise on here so the thread needs deleting if anyone knows how!

anyway, i told the purchaser clearly the tyres were a bit ropey, he didnt seem too bothered and said he would leave them until next year,

then he spent ages checking every single light and swapping bulbs etc, covering the old number plate with tape and sticking his in own in the back window to avoid 'getting a £30 fine for displaing the wrong one'

he sent me a text later saying how he had towed it all the way home on the motorway at 75mph!

so if your going to speed like that, on ropey tyres, why worry about the bloody number plate? :doh

still it takes all sorts, and he did have a LR

he was a very pleassant bloke though :thumbs

I agree LR owners... Some say ( In the tone of our lord JC ( Jeremy Clarkson not John Cleese)) they are so full of sh!t they have .....Brown eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!

dont forget some of our members have land rovers, the only reason people on here knock land rovers is because they own NISSANS, oh well i must be full of sh*t as well then, so if thats what that prick clarkson say's, it must be right, off to doctor tomorrow to get sh*t pills and bog paper on way back.

I've always been into my fords cause they're cheap and there's loads of 'em up the scrap yard for spares:sly
Imagine my surprise when my daughter said she was not going up that *&*&* yard again and bought herself a bloody VW golf:eek:
Reliable she said......................hmmm, BUT when they do go wrong blimey they're expensive:eek:
Horses for courses init:D

Ah but if you're putting diesel in it then you're also reducing your savings:augie
Your oil is already 70p a litre and you need some Kerosene to add to it(central heating oil)will do.
