Just been looking for the VEL rates, can anyone confirm them?

Mind you they give us nowt. I was getting quite excited thinking the new scrappage scheme would knock £2 000 off a new car price.

Not quite, half of that has to come from the manufacturer!!!!!! so really thats the discount or haggling margin massively eroded befor you even get warmed up. :doh

Found the rates, band K is the key for pre 06 but other poor sods are going to get screwed.
