That looks like cracking fun indeed!

Did you give her the belly rub then? No pictures? :naughty

P.s what is it?

Its a Blitz 4x4 kit car based on Suzuki samurai chassis & axles, Vauxhall Carlton Gearbox & 1.8 cavalier single point engine with suspension mods locker etc.

whatever happened to that Terrano buggy with the van cab? I liked that :naughty

Oh yeah!!!!! Forgot about that, was an MOT fail Citroen I think

see id love to get something like that together. terrano running gear and something wild on top, too many KA offroaders but you get the idea. even an MR2 or something hilarious, cut chassis length to suit of course :naughty

I remember seeing a unimog on e.bay with a transit cab on it looked like it was meant to be there. Though it may not of looked as good in the flesh as it did in photos

Love the blitz buggies, They also do a version for LR chassis.

How do you find the strength in the zuk axles?

Now that I need to see!!!!!

One from 2011:

Yeah axles are not strongest point. but it is lighter than a standard zuke even with a Vauxhall engine centre of gravity is good & centre balance is good as I cut away the bulkhead & mounted engine much further back than standard so rear axle has to share some of the load.
Centre propshaft is just 2 uj's welded back to back & reason I used a carlton gearbox was it was the shortest I could find. So if for example I used a ford sierra box (about 11" longer) the engine would be much further forward upsetting the balance & straining front axle.
