The bids are in to repair Firework Damage!

The three contractors have submitted their bids just waiting now for the Insurance Company to approve the winning bidder.

Winner is just over £99,000 plus VAT plus a contingency sum for any problems not anticipated. Other fees and costs to date exceed £20,000 so the final bill is going to be around £180,000 for our insurers.

Lead time is around 3 weeks so hope to have new roof on by end of February if things go well.

Winning Bidder Start Date!!

We have been advised that there is a proposed start date for our house repairs on the 21 st February 2018.

Just need the weather to be good next month as they start with the roof replacement.
