So, who is going to be watching the so-called royal wedding and who is going to be having their finger nails ripped out instead?

if they love each other truely, then i wish them the best of luck, but am I interested? no. wheres my community spirit? oh its right here dont you worry, I just have no interest in having Royal Wedding fever force fed to me.

You know what, I think it's great and she's a real looker too. I just hope the press do not hound them and ruin it all for them. All the best to them I say.

Will I be watching? probably not as I've other things to do. My local pub are having an "English Week" starting with a Help for Heroes fund raiser tomorrow night and then finishing the week with an all day event on the 29th to celebrate the wedding. Wish I had the time for that but also I couldn't take my kids to a pub for the whole day because it simply is not a good thing to do with kids.

PR triumph?

i'm reeally not interested in buying their monarchy marketing. I don't see why two rich, spoiled youngsters are at all relevant.
I've had bowel surgery and wouldn't recommend it - even to avoid this show of pomp.

Its a sad but true fact that the so-called monarchy is now nothing more than a tourist attraction with no other real relevance unless you believe that 'tradition'is a stabilising influence (which I guess it is to a small extent) but the extended family are just an anathema in 2011.

And don't even start me on the Duchy.....:doh

I dont wish them any ill at all and they seem decent folk. I dont give a tos about the wedding though.

Must remeber to thank them for the bank holiday though that preceeds our week away in the caravan :D

Royal ranks.

Heard some comment on TV about Harry being promoted to Captain and that William would therefore have to salute him and call him SIR.
Not in my book :augie
William is a Flt LT . These ranks ;army / royal air force are equal.

Now IF Harry were to be a Captain RN that would be another matter.

However; on a lighter note ,I suppose they will both be Married soon and , like us, they will get their orders from their respective you know whos :bow

Good idea leave the wife watching Wedding and all lads go laneing:lol

Well I sworn my allegiance to Queen and Country so Ill watch some of it. Reading some of the comments, well all Ill say is a little bit of knowledge is dangerous.
