So as some of you know, I've recently robbed Halfords of £120 quids worth of fog/driving lights for about £15 :sly

I have a set of 2 7" Ring Automotive Roadrunner Fog Lights that I want to mount on the front bumper somewhere but not sure where to put them as on the Mk3 bumpers we lost the protruding bit of the bumper which is where I mounted them on the Maverick.

I was thinking of going either side of the Nissan badge on the front grille if the bracket will allow, I'm hoping if I go back far enough under the grille with the bracket it should also double up as a stabiliser for the lamps as the ones on the Maverick were terrible as they wobbled all over the show when on uneven surfaces which did nothing for visibility :doh

Can anyone with a Mk3 advise on what they have done if anyone with a Mk3 has even fitted any spots?

Cheers Boyo's

How did you manage that

All the spotlights had been reduced and there was a glitch on the system so a £50 set of lights were going through at £2 a set :sly

I've took loads

Got all of the below and x2 sets of 7" round Fogs for the front bumper :thumb2

No chance..

We are so jealous we didn't get that offer lol..
:lol:lol

I fitted a pair behind the grill, as there was nothing in front of my radiator, no air con, so they are well tucked in.
A thin cross bar, and a couple of dropped bars from the slam plate, no holes drilled and the lights are firm and don't vibrate, like some do on extension brackets.

Banshee you've got a MK4 front bumper:thumbs the small lights should fit inside of the gaps either side of the front No plate:thumb2 for any other light on the front you'll need to make up some brackets to mount to the steel work behind the grill or onto the crash bar behind the bumper

I've worked out that they'll attach to the bumper ;)

The brackets seem to rotate enough as to allow it to bolt onto the plastic in front of the grille

It's tight I'll give you that but it should be OK, I'll do some detailed pics

My main worry is how I'm going to route the cables into the truck from outside without drilling the body or using any conduits again :doh

That's easy you have 2 small grommets on the drivers side of the bulkhead between the brake servo & the inner wing plus the main wiring loom grommet but TBH i'd use one of the small grommets. I managed to get my amp cable through one of the small grommets without any problems. I have taken to using split loom conduit now on any wiring I add to protect the wiring & to give it a factory fitted look, got a load of it from my local breakers yard for £2:thumbs he just asked that I didn't cut any wires when removing it off the cars
