Terrano Mk1 Window relay

Hi,

The electric window on the driver's side has developed a fault where it will only work intermittently. I've taken the door panel off and found that tapping the relay unit that sits high up on the door will get the unit to work (sometimes.....).

I'm going to try and clean the contacts on the relay but can anyone suggest a source for a new relay unit please? I know Nissan often use generic electrical parts so I would be interested to know if there's another (more common) model's relay that will work.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

two things happen with these, the contacts can get dirty, but also the pin connections to the board break around the solder, so just resolder them, Rick

Thanks, I'll take a look. When I checked the part no. against pictures on ebay it looks as though this may be a generic part and I was able to find a new replacement as well but I'll try and clean the contacts on the old one first.

mine done the same i put cable ties around the connector and unit holding the connector in tight......about 4 years later and it's never failed
