Terrano in Discovery out!

Hi, I'me new to the forum as i've only had my Terrano less than a week.
I've had a Discovery td5 and although owning the Terrano for such short time it is so much easier to live with, more responsive, better fuel economy, better turning circle and a better driving experience all round.
I only hope I don't have to spend as much time under the bonnet as with the Landy. Anyway I thought my first job would be to change all the fluids and filters, My only question is what engin oil is recomended or preferred for the 3.0 DI is it the same as the 2.7 ?. Hi Maxwell, I have just purchased a3.0 after having a 2.7 terry for many years..great cars:thumb2

I also changed the oil + all filters and now have my oil light on...the 3.0 is know for this and hopefully, that's what it is.
I used 10w40 Castrol magnatec, if you check your owners booklet, it says 10w40 can be used.
