Terrano II front indicator unit removal

Stupidly I sideswipped the post box with the front of the truck whilst reversing it. I've managed to crack the lens cover of the drivers side indicator unit and also detach half the cover from the unit. It's repairable but I need to get it off the car to do it. However I can't see how it comes off. I've removed the screw that fixes it to the top of the headlight unit but can't see what else needs doing to get it out. Can anyone help please?
the MOT is due next week so I need to effect a repair soon.

once the top screw is off then there is a ball socket at the bottom it just push fits back in so just a pull of the indicator out hope that helps

If you can't repair it then I bought a new one 2 years ago from a Nissan dealer and it was £32.26 (inc VAT) and came with the bulb holder and with a new bulb.

OK, thanks guys, maybe I'm just not pulling hard enough, but I didn't want to break it.

you pull it to wards the front of the car might be easier to push from inside the wing:thumbs

Thanks for the help guys, I got the offending item off just as you suggested.
the repair wasn't a great success though, the "clear" plastic patch kit turned out to be opaque so I don't think that will pass.
Looking at Therons price for a new one I called in at the yeovil nissan dealer, the parts man was at lunch so the receptionist put me through to a wincanton factor who only wanted £26 inc vat rather than the list £32 and will deliver it to the yeovil garage for me to pick up. I was expecting to pay a lot more, I've seen them on ebay for £50.

was that nissan in wincanton i need same indactor unit exeter wanted £38+ vat i do alot of driving for work up to london and pop in to wincanton for a break so wont cost me anymore:sly
