A plea to the electrical gurus out there.

I've been experiencing an intermittent fault with my Terrano's rear indicators; they fail. Occasionally, the beeper for the towing connectors sound.

Any ideas?

Regards.

Check your towbar socket for water ingress causing shorts. Where do the tow bar sockets get their feed from, ive seen them scotch locked into the wiring at the back of the lights where they get water and alsorts thrown up at them.

JT.

Thanks for the info. Gave the towing ports a good dousing of WD40. Indicator was still not working. Changed bulb and now working. Previous bulb still looked intact. Will try this quick cure before taking it to an auto electrician.

Just remember,as it's an indicator, it will flash :lol:lol

The fittings on tow bars can cause issues, glad you got it sorted mate :thumbs
