Terrano 2 ignition transponder

Can anybody tell me whether or not the transponder around the ignition barrel
is coded to the car or not? Many thanks in advance.

yes it is, change that and it will need to go to main stealer to be programmed, even if you change the ECU presumably from the same scrapper I think you would also need to change the immobiliser unit as well, Rick
