OK guy's & girls, started a new thread, with the latest upset. as some would now from my previous post i'm going threw hell trying to get it to start. flashing MIL, turns over, central locking working, alarm working, all lights on, two fault codes, 141 & 142 which relate to "possible" internal ecu faults, but could be caused by other things. sparky came out with computer but the system would not let him in. I have just replaced the ecu, ignition, ign sensor and keys, from a perfectly running same year 2.7. all parts and part numbers were the same, The same faults remain 141/142 as well as the same problem not starting,

the only thing i am sure of is that the fuel pump and solenoids are not activating when the ignition is switched on. I am going to start again from scratch.

1) get a lock smith out to reprogram my keys. then take it from there.

were is the fuel relay (if it has one) on a 97 terrano 2 2.7. (it is not in the fuse box under the hood)

anyone got a wiring diagram :doh?

Sounds like you are getting there buddy, I'll have a look on mine when I'm home, I'll be back in about 5 mins

I'm sure the workshop download should specify

lock smith failed!

Lock smith failed to rectify fault,

visit to Nissan now booked.

OUCH, but wait to here the result, I had a similar issue after removing fuel pipes, thought it was air but did not realise I was using the wrong key, after 3 start attempts ECU blocked me out, lock man sorted it for £60 Rick

Could it be the transponder in the key which is damaged.:nenau
Have you only got the one key?

After i gave him the symptoms, he stated there was no point in him coming out, and i needed to go to Nissan who can access and reset ecu code's 141 and 142, his software will only reset the key/fob.

his advice was free and he stated if he came out it would just add to my costs, nice to have an honest professional tradesman.
