here's the pics of the fix i done, thanks to Lazy-Ferret and solarman216 for telling me what to do:augie:thumbs saves me buying one:lol

That saved a few quid... :clap

now go and dig the other 2 out and fix those while your on a roll...:lol

Good fix:thumb2

For a strain relief, bend the wire back towards the housing, then put a cable tie around the cable and the brass of the sensor.

This way there will be no stress on the solder joint, and it should last a fair few years.

After all it was the vibration from the engine that caused the stress fracture in the first place, probably due to no strain relief.:doh it only lasted 19years ...:lol
