TDI banjo filter

I was wondering if anyone has cleaned the banjo filter on a tdi, if it has one?.
Is it in the same place as on the workshop download, mine has a small fuel pipe attached to the side unlike the download and i didnt want to start taking thing apart for no reason.
I have done a bit of towing lately (admitedley a bit heavy first time) but even with a resonable load I felt it struggled a bit more than it should so i thought maybe i would start with the filter.

Mines the same year as yours and hasn't got one. Buy some lead insoles, works for me. David.
