HI, am going to check/adjust the tappets, and having looked at the fantastic download how to do this i was wonderig is the procedure the same for the engine with the intercooler on top?
cheers M :?

I think it is but you have to remove the intercooler 1st :? Could someone conferm this for me please.
I'm going to check mine aswell to make sure there set up ok. Am I right in thinking it's best to set them when the engine is cold & that the gaps are the same for the inlet & exhaust :? Do you have to replace the rocker cover gasket when doing this like older OHV engines  Sorry for asking so much but it's been a very long time since i've had a motor OHV's

Thanks you asked all the questions i forgot about! putting it all back together then it leaking because of a forgotten gasket would really suck! m

yep guy's you will have to remove the intercooler to get to the rocker cover. It would probably be safer to do the job when it's cold so you won't burn your fingers
