seem to be getting moisture in boot.

was parked up hill other day and quite a puddle in back, the seal to top few inches
in from near side looked damp and some damp on plastic trim / carpet grip.

can seal be sealed or am i looking at a new one, think someone said had made it
'prouder' maybe something behind it on door so made better bite?

if your existing seal is not damaged then all you need is to take it off and re stick the top part to the body with non setting sealer that will stick to rubber and paintwork, cleaning it up is the worst part, you have to get rid of all traces of the old sealer, Rick

Like he said :D

dont think seal is damaged as said. damp i son outside face of seal that contacts
body so reckon it needs to be deeper/thicker/prouder so how do i do that please.

maybe your door needs adjusting in that case, but really think you need to do what I did and run a hose over the area while inside looking, Rick

i fixed one of mine by cutting a peice of garden hose to the length i needed then i pushed it inside the hollow part of the rubber.
this made the rubber slightly proud and a lot less supple so it sealed better.
