hope someone can help i have been quoted well over a £100 pounds for the rear door seal by nissan, does anyone know were i can get a new one for less or maybe if someone has one to sell?
Hi, if its letting in water and your carpets are getting wet (usually nearside load area) try painting the seal with Waxol it worked for me, regards bri
Just purchased a LWB Terrano 2 found carpets wet near side rear to near side front. found water leak rear door then water following cable trunking to front foot well felt under carpets soaked, cure seal rear door rubber seal along top particularly at corners, I used a mastic compound to seal the rubber to the body, cured, it only takes a few drips to build up over weeks to make under carpet felt wet, so when heater on windows mist up, all now cured.
best regards rick

hi m8 what bit of the door seal do you need is it the bit on the door or the bit on the body of the vehicle i have a set of door rubbers for this vehicle bought from ebay a while ago and only used one, prob is cant remember which one i will need to check in garage, let me know if you still need it .:thumb2
If you buy a mag like "car mechanics" or one of the classical renovation ones they always have loads of ads from companies who will sell the different profiled stuff that door seals are made from by the metre:thumb2 (or yard for the classics)
