T2/Navara diff ?

Hi guys I've found info on an Aus. site stating that the front diff on the T2 is the same as that on a Navara?:augie It doesnt say which Navara, but can anyone confirm this?
Reason being it's cheaper to get a diff locker for one I think:sly

this might work : go to nissan4u.com , find the vehicle and part you want, click on the part number, and it will give you a list of the vehicles it will fit, or was fitted to.

Pete, could be one of two things; Terra can tell you the ins and outs of it but I know the REAR diff on facelifted trucks is off something else, but can't remember what it is....it certainly isn't the same as pre-facelift.

The other thing I'm wondering is, I'd be really surprised if they had stuck a diff off a 20 year-old truck on to another model, but I'm asking myself if, with its fixed hubs, whether the post-facelift front diff on the T2 vis again different, so could be a true statement but only pertinent to later models?

The REAR diff on facelifted T2s (i.e. post-2000 2.7 and 3.0) is a C200, also used on the Navara.....it has a removable bolted backplate that I think the standard one doesn't have (or it has a different number of bolts I can't quite recall) and uses about a litre less LSD oil than the older diff; 1.8 versus 2.8 ltrs.

Wonder if the Aussies are confusing front with rear, I mean with all that space what do they care? LOL
