T2 Front shock absorbers -lower bush?

So -got fed up with my new T2 clanking and banging over bumps -thought it might be the infamous ARB drop links. Jack it up, off with the front wheel -well pleased-one very knackered lower shock bush.Easy job, mounting bolt out, remains of bush fell into my hand. Started phoning round the local motor factors etc. WHEN DID IT BECOME OK FOR YOU TO NEED A NEW SHOCK ABSORBER FOR THE SAKE OF A POXY £1 BUSH!!!!!!!No-one had one.No-one interested in getting one. Anyone out there know where I can get one, or alternatively, what can be " adapted to fit"? Still at least the old bike tyre I wrapped the central steel sleeve in as a temporary fix has cut out the clanging!

have you tried milner offroad at matlock.my mate recently bought some for his diahatsu 4 track,so i would think they would do them for a t2.
