Noted recently that when turning on full lock, seem so get a knock from back end and a judder. Mate said it is the LSD and that the oil needs changing.
Is this likely and what would I change it too please.

I had a newer 2004 model a few yrs ago which ndid a similar thing. went back to dealer who said that the LSD oil req'd an additive as wrong oil used in factrory?

First one is quite correct....Comma LSD Oil is one of the more commonly available brands from your motor factors...but must be LSD oil

Second one is a complete load of tosh.

Bottom line is LSD oil needs changing every 40k miles I think, but since many motors are out of warranty by this time it gets permanently overlooked.

But could easily be other things...panhard rod joints, rear ARB joints etc.. So change oil but have a good shake around while youre underneath.

That does sound like a load of bollocks. I think he's semi informed , bullshitting and getting mixed up with the likes of Jeep which take a certain diff oil then a mopar additive :thumb2

Defo worth changing the rear diff oil for genuine LSD Oil. However blob some grease on the steering stops too, there's two on each side.
