SWB Auto?

Hi, all - just wondering - was there ever a SWB Maverick/Terrano automatic? I've seen lots of LWB models for sale at varying prices, but I'm a bit pushed for space on my drive, and I'm finding my manual-boxed SWB Maverick a tad awkward & painful on my left hip & knee (must be that old git, Arthur Itiss, getting to me!) - hence my interest in an auto...:nenau

Also, if anyone out there has got an auto' and fancies a swap(ish), gissa nod!:thumbs

autos came late to the terrano2, certainly in the mk2 phase lwb.
before that only saw the jap imports, the mistral with slush boxes.

have seen a couple of swb mistrals but dont recall their transmission.

can feel an ebay search coming on.

in some other trucks autos were only in the longer wheel bases, it
was certainly supposed to have been near impossible to get the
bigger longer auto into the defender 90s as i recall. though dont
know why as autos were even found in the classic mini.....
