Just wondering if it's easy to change the ride hight in a 94 lwb terrano. I'm doing a lot of off roading now so I would like to give it a lift. Do I have to get longer springs?

longer springs and adjust torsion bars or lift kit and adjust torsion bars

I think Terranosaurus has ran out, I bought 2 from his last lot as I knew he had only a few left. Still not stuck them on but they are nice and safe in the shed ready.

Body lift is cheap :thumbs 69 squid inc bolts is pretty good I think :D
I had some made and the spacers alone cost about 60 quid :augie

No.
You'll only get more ground clearance by fitting huge tyres :sly
To do so you need to make room for them. So you either lift up the body or fit bigger springs or both.
Cheapest is the body lift.:thumbs Just a pain of a job on an old truck:eek:

suspension lift will give extra chassis clearance, Although not a huge amount

Petes right (blimey thats at least twice lately LOL!) I'd go for the body lift....you need it anyway to clear much bigger tyres and the standard ride height (with torsion bars wound up to get it almost level front to back) will get you through/over most things frankly.

Too much chassis height change and you start to run into problems in the longer term with CV joins etc..

The simple stuff is torsion bars, remove side steps and towbar if you have them, and then a body lift if you can be bothered. Avoids complications, although I think you have to extend the radiatior pipes or something don't you?...someone will correct me I'm sure.
