Sunroof

Sunroof has stopped opening fully but will open in the tilt mode anybody got an answer as it is rattling away and i want to gain access to see what is causing problem

um. by the two map lights, remove the covers, you can then see a BIG screw. turn that its the manual over ride so should open it either way

Check all screws are tight and not jamming the roof when trying to slide open,

Does the internal slider bit still work ok?
I took my head lining out to sort the broody rattle and found there's some special little spring clips to hold it in the runners. These can come adrift and block things, and certainly caused the rattling on mine

with the sunroof closed ,from inside look up you will see 4 plastic covers. pull these off and undo the 4 screws. roof will now push up from frame. look at the 2 guide wires, one each side of runners. there are 2 aluminium blocks. they guide the frame to tilt or slide. bet one of them is broke. both have broken on my mistral. not sure but it might be the whole assembly has to come out to replace. sod that i got aircon
