hi can any1 tell me if there are any sections on the club for stripping cleaning rebuilding and replacing brake pads front callipers thanks

It is in the downloads under removing front discs and hubs, Rick

If u can get the pins out no point replacing them, as just give them a quick rub with emery tape

Otherwise they'll be siezed and snap, then get a used carrier as you'll not get the snapped one out

If your pins are seized, apply some local heat and WD40 or similar, then apply a spanner and try to get some movement, once you get a tiny bit they will come out, if no movement at all get it hotter, once it is moving it is a case of working back and forth with plenty of spray till eventually you get a full turn then just keep working, I have only ever had to drill one out, and the way to do it is from the opposite end, drill a larger than necessary hole in the carrier then select the correct size drill and follow the existing hole, till you hit the pin and start drilling the existing hole keeps the drill aligned, if you try to drill from the sheared pin end the drill will most likely wander into the easier to drill cast instead of the steel pin, Rick

Whatever you do, give them a good coat of copper grease before you put them back together.
