well the weather in Welsh Wales was so unseasonably good this weekend I thought I'd take a few pics around the garden - oh and a couple of the muttz got in the frame too...:doh

Well theres a thing Terry....allegedly the Towy (or Tywi) is supposed to be one of the best salmon and sea trout rivers in the UK.....and some dimwit fishing association has just purchased about 1000 yds of fishing rights on the opposite bank for £120,000 (I've got about 500 yds)....but in the three years we've been there I've NEVER seen a single fish....apart from some weeny little stickleback-type dudes....I'd have to go down the chippy and chuck some in upstream for you....what kind of fly do you use for battered cod anyway?:augie

I do it on a ride-on mower.....I usually end up sunburnt, sore-arsed and covered in bites...:doh We used to have a few sheep and a couple of pigs but Mrs L got fed up with the chores....doesn't seem to mind having six bloody dogs though :doh

looks a great spot for a CL, forget Caravan Club gate specs,
sure plank and me can get our outfits thru. afterall if towing
mirrors fit caravan will follow.

I did look into it but the cheeky beggars at the C&CC seemed to think that CLs require lower rents....on top of the costs of widening the gates, waste disposal facilities, toilet disposal, fresh water etc.., all so their members can park in a secluded beauty spot in an AONB bank next to one of the best rivers in Wales, for less than they'd pay to sit cheek by jowl in the site on the edge of town..:doh

Mind you, I'm told by people who've been that Pencelli, near Brecon, is really good...

I did try some once but they seemed to vibrate so much i couldn't see anything in them anyway, and they don't fit the transit :thumbs

guess be about same width as caravan anyway, but i was
thinking on the t2. which is narrower.
