Stiff door handles

The rear door handles on my terrano are getting really hard to open. Its getting to the point where I just open them from the inside instead of battling trying to squeeze the handle open.

Is there a way to make them easier to pop open? Is it a cable that needs adjusting or is it new mechanisms?

its all mechanical rod linkage as i recall....just whip the door card off and all will be revealed....

yeah I agree, be carefull removing the card though, some of the clips can (and probably will) snap. theres a screw in the handle, the rest just pulls off (well, it does on mine) then you can get to everything.

i had same problem, if you pull off the door seal close to the lock and get a tin of wd40 with the red tube attatched you can squirt it through the small hole where the clips go saves taking off door card, mine is a lot better to open now?
