Steering wheel removal

Does anybody know how to remove the steering wheel (non airbag) from a 94 terrano? I'm trying to change it for the one on my 96 terrano. The one in my other scrap terrano has a airbag but I'll just leave it disconected. Got that off ok:nenau

Ohh yeah. I got the horn push button out there was a big nut so I undone that but it still won't come off:doh

Still can't remove it. I think it could be stuck because of the age but I'm still determined:sly reason I'm replacing it is because it's gone bendy, worn and dis coloured. The good on is black and not worn because it's only do:dohne 80.000

Just slacken the nut and yank it really hard dont remove the nut fully or it'll hit you in the face when it comes off

yep, just like cncfabs says, use a bit of penetrating fluid on the splines, put ur back into it!

Slacken the nut, leave it loose, then thump it from the rear towards you.
Try in 3 different places.

The first time I did a steering wheel I made the error of removing the nut, and the wheel hit me on the bridge of the nose....:doh
