Steering Wheel Problem & Wheel Spacers

First up: My steering wheel foam grip has seperated from the steel ring inside the wheel! Any way of making it Solid again?
I thought about injecting Super Glue into the foam at various points?
Can't afford a new Wheel and saw on a TV Program that it can fail an MOT (Due end of Month) for this problem!


Second: Are Wheel spacers Safe?
I see lots for sale, plus trucks which appear to have spacers fitted?

why do u want wheel spacers how thick you need and r u running alloys or steel wheels

Changed lots of steering wheels under warranty when I was in the trade so problem been there from day one. Mines been like it for years , never failed a mot yet. Should be able to inject with glue to fix .

yes super glue injected with a syringe and needle will do the job make sure the needle hits the metal before injecting, and do not take too long the plunger will seize about every 3 inches will do it but it will take a while to set, Rick

Might be better using aradite then. Wouldn't be good superglueing a sharp to your steering wheel ;-)

Just thought the wider appearence looked good.
I've got alloys on my SWB Mav.

I'll have to find a junkie and pinch his syringe then! Plenty of em round here!
