hi, does any one know were i can get some steering stop for my mk2 maverick.
i've greased the remains of what's left on but i don't think that will last long.

i was pondering about putting pop bottle tops on them to stop the awful noise !!

thanks in advance

nissan main dealer only place i think,

bottle tops and grease sounds like a great idea!

will get one of the little zippys on it tomorrow!

make sure they are a very tight fit

put on the cooker in a pan of boiling water to get them soft,

then push on and cool them down with cold water..

should stay on longer then

The price is'nt that bad at £3 each (you need 4) replaced mine 2 years ago & are now shot again so I just put a huge dollop of grease on them:D

thanks zippy and sweety.
i thought nissan would charge through the nose for them - thanks for the info

when i asked i was to £13, i thought that was each, but i guess, i didnt ask could have been for the set!!

I replaced mine when I first got it ( the non nissan salesman was convinced the driveshaft was knackered by the noise :thumb2 ) Pennines under £13 for four.

A couple of them went after a few thousand miles so I just keep regreasing.....no problems at all :thumb2
