you mean the white nylon efforts?
why bother, a quick dab of grease occasionally is all whats needed,if however you really want some (before i learned about the grease trick)the only place that would do them for me was the nissan main dealer and there was a 3 week lead time.
The cost was not the problem,it was the lead time,and sincei have only had to apply the grease once in 18 months why bother?
:thumbs At least you had some of the plastic part left, mine have been as bald as a badger's a** since I've had the car (two and a half years) - greased them probably 3 or 4 times during that period, nary a sound from them since.:thumbs
Certainly sounds like dry steering stops!whilst on this subject ive noticed when i pull onto my drive full left lock its fine till the n/s/f climbs the inch high kerb which then gives off an awfull grind sound:doh sounds like the whole front end is trying to separate itself . ive also tried right hand lock exactly the same so im hoping grease is what my motors crying out for
