Stage 3 power map!!

Had the T2 re-mapped today by map power uk. I have not driven it yet which is frustrating but the wheels are been refurbed and having new boots fitted :sly When ive driven it i will post the results and details if anyone wants it was a great all round service. My ecu was collected and brought back to me within 4 hours!! had 2 chips replaced one controlling the fuel and the other the boost. It is a stage 3 chip so i should be hitting 150 bhp region :thumbs Ive also done a 1"1/2 body lift this week too! just need to mod the bumper brackets now! or and weld in a new front crossmember!! because there is nothing left of it...

Its a 98 s reg... ecu under the front passengers footwell!! needs to be a bosch unit.

I will ask the question and get back to you bud but i was struggling to get the bosch one done!! everyone has gone all modern now with the plug into the dash method where as mine is the old e proms on the ecu its self. The daft thing is they are now reverting back to older methods of having to remove the ecu!!

I thought it was too.. i looked there first! its under passenger front footwell, remove carpets then a large black plate and its attached to the back of that! disconnect your battery before you unclip the wiring loom, im told if you dont it can lock the ecu! ill take pics before i re fit it :thumbs

yeah map power uk, he is based in melthem huddersfield. His name is rik knows his stuff i got back my old chips too so i could always revert back to standard. ill PM you his number if you want??

my ecu is under the glove box,
in the passenger foot well,
bolted on a plate which is bolted to the bulkhead

yea, the plate is held om by 4 10mm nuts,
the two on the floor just snapped off when i tried to undo them

125 to 150 thats 20% but as clarkson would say what about the torques?

Torque is now 325 nm which is what i wanted for towing the caravan a little harder up the hills!
