Spotlight roofbar

I wanted to make a roof bar light setup like petes but I think I have bought the wrong spotlights. Are these the same as yours pete?

If not has anyone used these type before, I have powered one up indoors and it seems fairly bright but I am after more long/mid distance light. They don't seem the type for this.

I tempted to ask for a refund but I won't get delivery costs refunded and I'd have to send them back. Other option is just to stick them on ebay and buy the right ones.

Nope, they seem like fog lens type ie diffused spread of light.
They'll probably be fine for a spread slodge of light near the front but if you want mid to long range then you need to get a focused lens:thumbs

No, because if you want a setup like Petes you need a roofbar welded under the floorpan as well.......for those little 'upside down' times......so that makes eight LOL:lol

Got my fogs from a company called FMS (http://www.fmsap.co.uk/) £15 for ring roadrunners as opposed to £25 from Halfords.
