Hi all. As some of you may know, my 1994 T2 is permanently in Spain, and until recently had a full bullbar, fitted with a pair of superb spotlamps. However, the bullbar has completely rusted away around the lower mounting points and I have had to remove it. along with the spotlamps. I do not have access to any engineering tools or equipment apart from my basic toolkit (spanners, sockets etc) here in Espana. My question is this, does anyone know of a suitable bracket or brackets that I could use to refit my spotlamps. It or they would have to be small enough to be carried over by air in my suitcase (I don't want the lights roof-mounted, they would have to be in front of the grille to comply with the Spanish ITV (MOT). Any suggestions would be gratefully considered.

Hi Bazza, thanks for that, unfortunately those eBay ones are for fitting to a bullbar, and I don't have a bullbar any more (the bottom mounting brackets completely rusted away, so I had to scrap the whole bullbar). What I need is a pair of brackets that I can mount either side of the radiator or thereabouts, to project through between the bumper and the grille.

Hi Larson, thanks for that offer, I may just take you up on that. Unfortunately I return to the UK tomorrow (Wed) and I don't think I will have time to measure up before I leave - however, I will be back in Spain in 6 or 7 weeks time, and should be able to do it then - thanks a lot!

cookings a womans job so i cant do that.... terranical as for 6 or 7 weeks time my membership will have run out ( i think) so they will be no pms and posibly no point me signing in here. you would need to get dimensions to me through clivvy or jimsterrano, if they will oblige

I have had a closer look at possible locations for brackets, and it appears that favourite would be the 20mm round bar that runs across the front of the car just below the bumper. I'm thinking of a couple of commercially available clamps that are normally used on a badge bar - a bracket could then be bolted to them, projecting out above the bumper and below the grille. I will check out some clamps when I get back to Bristol tomorrow and work out some dimensions for the brackets, really do appreciate your willingness to help out here!
