Rear end

Looks okay to me but who am I to judge I think the Nissan Cube looks brilliant as well !

I want a big sticker that reads our website for the bottom of the door, whole width. I reckon that would look good!

I've got a 33" spare on mine now and it don't half look big compared to my other one.

Going to move the number plate over an inch as it's slightly obscuring it.

I've been here thinking what can I write that says it all to give encouragement to Alex for all his hard work...

No... still can't think of anything really nice to say...

So some encouragement...
What you need on the rear, is a wheel, to cover that crumpled rear door, it should look much better, well as good as it can when you compare it to the rest of the rear...:doh

Now thinking again, the crumpled rear door actually matches the rear quite well.:thumb2:thumb2

I knew i could think of something positive after all....
:thumb2

:lol:lol:lol:lol

I can think of things to say but alex won't like what I say or :lol:lol:lol :thumbs

everyone has their particular views on what looks good or not , but from a practical view ..... just hope you don't get a puncture :doh..... also its probably illegal not to carry a legal spare .......... but whatever floats your boat mate .

Are you going to keep the spare in the boot or fit a roof rack & keep it on there? The tyre weld stuff will fix some punctures enough to get you home but if you use it you need to replace the tyre as the tyre weld stuff in facts melts the rubber on the inside of the tyre to help seal the hole but if you managed to tear a sidewall off road you'll be right in the do do's without a spare wheel:doh

Looks good, but 4 tyre blowouts on the highway in the past years I'm never leaving without a spare wheel again..

Well I will say it.... It looks bloody awful....:nenau

I do have a question, Why???

It seems to serve no purpose to remove it, it won't improve your departure angle, and the weight of the iron work on the front of your car, you have no fear of pulling a wheely having the extra weight behind the rear wheels!!! In fact, I am not certain that taking that counter weight off the back will not make your steering and front CV components wear out quicker.. :augie:rolleyes:

The nicest thing I can say is it looks like the latest Disco...

4x4's are supposed to have a spare wheel on the back... It's what makes them!!!

:D:D

That might be Alex's next mod fitting LR badges:lol:lol With the spare gone the rear bondage bar looks as if it needs moving upwards now:augie

I do think with the rear wheel gone, all I can see is how far those wheels stick out past the body... it's like there is nothing to draw your eye away from them.

Hehe all comments taken on board, apart from the nissan cube one :augie

My main reason for removing the spare wheel was the following, when I purchased the set of wheels 4 were mud trackers and spare was an avon ranger, now I've moved up the wheel size is so far off it's not worth keeping on.

I do actually plan to get a roof rack and spare wheel there (that's the plan anyway) but I have heard the roof is a bit fragile :nenau

Funny how everyone has different views, it's got some good looks since the new shoes and removal of spare, and I quote "f*** that's a sick truck" from a loonie walking past at work :lol

Also had a cyclist take a second and third look back at it as he undertook in traffic, oh and had kids snapping pics of it and again they said "that's wicked, it's like a mini monster truck" :lol

Naturally I was included to agree :augie

So getting back to the subject, can a roof rack and spare be secured on the roof without too much stress? And regarding wheels poking out I plan to do arch extension.
