Hi all
i have recently bought a 2000 nissan terrano it only came with one key so i am looking to get another, have had a look on ebay does any body no if the ones that need reprograming only cover the central locking or do they also work the immobiliser? or would a vehicle locksmith be able to supply one.
Was in nissan main dealers this morning picking up a new maf sensor and they gave me a price between £160-£200 ouch
any ideas
cheers Andy

I was at a shoe repair place in Bridgnorth a few weeks back and a lady went in with a chipped fiat key, he had the software to code it and cut it so maybe try there? I know some keys are hard to get ford ones for example but maybe Nissan are now easier?

I'm sure some one will know the answer to this

mmm just got a new key for my 98 T2. cost be 60 quid which I thought was steep. unlocks everything, works the immobilizer and operates the central locking

by the way this was done at my local nissan garage

Timpsons do it, as will any decent locksmith...

Send me a PM and I will supply phone numers etc of someone who may be able to help. They sorted my T2 at a very reasonable price - keys and all !
