erm, "Book, Cover" Can't see anything special .
Unless it's hiding a live axle up front. There's a body lift and suspension I guess but what's the bed stead stuck on it for ? :nenau

I like the external cage, the slider/steps the rear bumper and the way the arches have been done so well ;)

All seems well executed but that frame is too piddly  Fall over with that and it'll just get in the way
Should be much bigger section.
Any details on it?

agrreed that cage looks lovely but not very effective

Surely it depends on the tubing and wall thickness lads

To an extent yes but that lot is all wavey and shaped all gay like over the front wheel arch for example. It's attached to the side step and that's probably only bolted on the chassis. I could jump on most side steps and bend them, so what'll happen to that bedstaed once you park the truck on it's side :lol
It's not even fitted to the roof :doh
External cage should be the same as internal and about twice that size I reckon.
Just my opinion and experience :D

think an external cage would enter car in some places still

say behind b pillar to go straight down to chassis.

looking at bars at rear in proportion to the overgrown
roof rail arrangement found on a 2 door freelander.

I think it would be fairly effective. Also work well as tree sliders

I'm not that struk on the cage but a nice truck. I prefer the Icelandic trucks.mmmm make me feel funny just thinking about them:naughty:naughty

I assumed that get up was just to protect it from typical Spanish parking methods.

There is no cross bracing, ie diagonal supports.

For strength, you need a triangular structure.
This rectangular cross section, will be easily converted to a parallelogram, as say the top edge is pushed over in a roll.

Certainly not for a serious roll.
Although a crane should be able to lift the truck vertically though:thumbs
