Today, I think I may have over done it a bit, I washed both Terrano's, the caravan, and also jet washed off the entire 4 car drive.

I did the job properly as well, Jet washed to get them wet, sprayed with soap, hand washed (needed a step ladder for mine, and the caravan), jet washed to rinse, and dried by hand, on the 2 cars and the caravan.

Feeling a bit heat stroked now though.

What "SPRINGS" to mind is...

Water water everywhere and not a drop to drink.

Heat exhaustion can be made worse when you don't drink enough.
The other day I was working hard doing the framing for my new area of decking around the conservatory, during the day I must have drank 7 pints of water, and no visit to the loo all day. Sweat was dripping from everywhere, well I think it was sweat lol...

So during this weather drink plenty of water.:thumb2:thumb2

Simply check the colour of your wee, if deep yellow, you are not drinking enough. Water is nature's best.:thumbs
Simples...

Best regards,

Rustic

^^sound advice!!

its very easy done though, when you get yourself busy like that. Because you are working with water, you feel ccooler, when in fact youre not, youre just getting more and more dehydrated - hope youre feeling ok mate!

the`ll be no water left !
I was down your way, in kent two weeks ago with caravan, very nice it was too !

Sound advice, if only I had followed it.:lol

Like you say, the trouble is, you get too bogged down with wanting to get things finished, and then don't drink enough... It's made worse, by the fact I hate the taste of water, and know fizzy drinks are bad for you. Did have a couple of big cups of tea, but not enough.

Hmmm... you sure you were in Kent?:lol We spend all our time heading up your way, as it's nicer...:D

I been in a loft and on a roof today in the loft 10 seconds and I was drenched fortunately only had a couple of wires to connect, trouble is lofts are dirty and sweaty arms hold the dirt, down the loft ladder onto a almost white carpet, was I lucky not a bit left anywhere but told the customer he can put the loft ladder back, on the roof the tiles were so hot almost burn me bum, and because of the faulty high sensor the panel was 110 deg C had to fit the new sensor with pliers or I would have burnt fingersnd I drink nothing but coke, a Rick

Besides the colour that's been mentioned watch out for a headache. You need to drink lots of water, if you are drinking so much you are going to the loo you are drinking enough.
If you do suspect heat exhaustion don't cool down too quickly.

tea has caffeine in it so will dehydrate you even more..... cool down slowly with a cool wet towel around you and drink water with a few sprinkles of salt to replenish what you have lost :)

Ohhh great, not only do I need to drink disgusting water, but now sea water... joy... I'm off to hibernate in the aircon, it's easier, well tastes better anyway :lol:lol

Feel a lot better today, ache a bit, but that could just be from all the stretching to wash all the hard to reach bits of the caravan roof. Slept all night last night with the aircon on, so when I did finally fall asleep, I passed out, but my body cooled down nicely.
