Ok so hopefully I will be the owner of a 2002 ish 2.7 terrano lwb in the next couple of weeks.

I would like to fit 265/75 r16 muddies on it, but I understand insa dakars and various other makes will not go under a stock vehicle with out cutting up bumpers and things ? Are there a set of 265/75 r16's in an aggressive pattern that will go under without having to hack my bumpers etc ?

On the other hand I have read that runway 265/75 r16 enduro at's WILL go under after just removing the mudflaps as they are a smaller diameter than insas etc, is this true ?

Anyone had any experience ordering a snorkel from www.snorkels.es and was the quality ok, and customer service ok etc ?

Who will supply me a 2" body lift kit with the correctly pitched bolts ?

Also would like a heavy duty sump/cross member bash guard, nice and thick to prevent be damaging this area, is there one available off the shelf ?

Many thanks in advance guys :thumbs

re the snorkel, i have contacts in spain / portugal who might have experience with them . but very good find . ill have one if its that price .
anyone else interested could try for a bulk order . once we have it confirmed it will fit snug

265/75/16 dakars won't fit, someone on here is running them on 2" body lift and I think 2" susp lift.

Body lift can be found here: http://xpajun.com/product_info.php?cPath=53&products_id=128

Depending on price of snorkel might be alot cheaper to make your own.

So will the 265/75 16 Runway enduro at's fit ?

I'm sure I read on here that someone recommended fitting these to a standard truck, was here or on difflock, been searching etc but cant find anything definite ...

Cheers for that, are those blocks polyurethane then ? I figured aluminium blocks would be a better bet due to plastic ones perhaps breaking down over time through vibration ?

Tosh :p Anyway the xpaj ones are alu :thumbs

Typical I looked at the pics and was sure it looked like alu :nenau any way mine are nylon and I think you'll agree Fez , are standing up to loads of abuse :lol

yes I wouldn't worry my body has not dropped off yet and my nuts are still intact.

Ring them up, I am sure they will let you know. He knows his stuff from what I can see.

Do u need to get the carpet up to access the bolt heads then ?

Front carpets on SWB dont know about loooooong wheel base :nenau

I take it 265/70 r16 cooper discoverer STT's Would fit a standard lwb ?

they are the same size as mine, back fit fine but I get some rubbing when turning full lock on the arch by the footwells.

My suspension is standard, but I have a 2" body lift.

That will do then :)

So you just have a body lift then mate ?

Can u run 2" longer rest shocks with standard springs and not have to worry about a spring popping out on full articulation ?

I attached the bottom of the springs to the axle so if it does not fall off.
