solved - thanks to the forum again

During a long highway run yesterday something started whining badly inside the dashboard. Checked forum when I got back, put some oil in the speedo cable cup, and it looks to be solved.
Big test tomorrow, going to work with it (30 miles highway), but I have high hopes

Now I wonder what the Nissan dealers here in Belgium would ask for solving such a thing. More than the £10 membership fee here, for sure :naughty

I had that in my Maverick, I removed the cable and the noise went away, I also observed that it drove the odometer, now how many of you with older trucks knew it was that easy :naughty
