So I'm thinking yes it would look nice and be functional should I need it, but it wont do the resale value any good having a hole in the wing.

Also I'm planning on avoiding water deeper than a couple of foot as I dont want it finding its way into diffs end various bearings or electrics ...

So this leads me to tghink perhaps I should just fit a K+N cone under the bonnet as this will stop most water splashes etc from entering the intake ?

What are your opinions ?

Not too bothered about cost or resale tho if I'm honest

Don't worry about the electrics, even the petrol ones are pretty good.

Any mods you do will hurt the resale, End of the day these vehicles will drop like rocks in price as fuel rise anyway. Just have fun.

But as you say your not bothered about the resale thats not a issue?
