Not this weekend I'm afraid Rick, we've got plans again I'm afraid, doing a lot of round the house jobs and also hoping to finish off my last 3 CCTV cameras on Sunday

When's the next one after this? And how much notice do they give before they cancel one as I wouldn't like to make a 3 hour trip down there to find out it was shut

Picadilly Wood is the first Sunday of every month

Slidon Safari is the second Sunday every month

Slindon Valley is the forth Sunday every month, (not very interested in this one)

They do not get cancelled, but clearly I cannot do them all, Rick

I am all sorted and ready for tomorrow, have a sexy winch bitch as company so will be back with some good pics and poss vids tomorrow, Rick

Fantastic time many pics so patience

Ok well after winching out a couple of stuck motors within minutes of arriving, had a wander round and found the place I got well and truly stuck last time and it had dried out and some lumber had been placed in the ruts, so no good, hunted on and found this, yep straight in there and well and truly stuck

Starting to set the ground anchor, had offers of vehicle to winch to but declined as wanted to test it under real conditions

Start of the pull, and was it heavy, short bursts to let the slurry drain back and give the winch a rest, I was on the drum so max pull

Need to pull to the right to stop OSF going into solid mud wall, so introduced a block on the line from a distant tree

Put a block on as a very hard pull now on solid rutted ground, but big hole could mean roll over

Even two at a time, so now I need to fabricate a frame to hook onto the winch bumper to provide a high level pulley point, so all in all a resounding success, me ten legged donkey works and works beyond my expectations, that's it folks, sorry no vid as it got over written on the journey home cos I forgot to remove the chip, Rick
