Hi all as said looking for a co driver, Sarah cannot make it this time so anyone free, Rick

Well as no co driver has emerged and on Friday a Vintage cavalier arrived not running very well, pulled the head today and it just needs a bit of TLC, so may do that instead, will wait and see how I feel and what the weather is doing in the morning, Rick

Oh man that’s a pity mate.

Cavalier sounds interesting Rick, any chance of a photo or two please.

I’ve been busy working on the MG all day.

Engine bay head removed, it was burning oil and poor performance

Head on the bench, valves and seats in good order and should clean up well, oil problem was No 1 and 4 inlet valve seals had split due to age hardening, current owner has done 5k in since he bought it and it has 50k on the clock ignition timing seems out but has some distributor issues so will sort that on the rebuild as has the Webber twin choke
