How easy is it to change?
Do i need any special tools.
Also looking at changing the Fluid at same time.

I am thinking of changing it because i have Clutch problems again.
I had this last winter and it went away. Clutch has been fine till now.

Issue -
Intermittently very hard to get gears. One time it is ok another feels like the clutch does not Disengage enough and get drag.
Come back to it next day. and might be ok.

Thanks in advance.

Ian

How many miles has it done Ian? I've done pretty monumental mileages in three Terranos and never had a clutch problem - and yours is only an 05 plate??

We see this on older trucks a bit, but its very unusual so new I'd have thought?

Anyone else had experience with a newer truck doing this?

81000 miles
a lot motorway that is why i think fluid or cylinder as opposed to clutch plate.

and is intermittent as was doing it this time last year (in the cold)

Same pattern as me, thrashing up and down to Wales all the time....

Might just be worth changing the fluid and bleeding the thing properly first as it could be an airlock maybe?

Does it help if you pump the clutch a few times?

pumping the clutch seems to make no difference

its crazy i drove from stroud to portishead this morning fine
1 hour break
portishead to gordano services
5 min break
then had this issue all way back to stroud

left for 5 hours and fine again.
