Today was nice out!!!!

I got under mine and removed my front prop and front downpipe due to a blowing flexi to then find out the one I brought from James is too long and wont fit :doh

Now means I'm going to be running no exhaust until Monday but it sounds like a monster truck and the turbo spool and whistle is immense

The best way is to warm the oil first, by placing the container in a bucket of hot water...

same with gearbox oil, warm it up first
long tube and funnel ,
only talking from experience ,
stood there for nearly an hour pouring it in slowly :doh

Having said that, I'd spent the day changing the discs & pads on the Wagon, plus changed the engine oil & filter, & CV Joint boot, so I was a bit tired. That's my story, and I'm sticking with it :lol:lol

I have now completed the rear diff oil change a couple of times, but last year I bought an Oil Suction Gun from Machine Mart, which I used last weekend to change the rear diff oil.

I can confirm that it worked a treat, and I didn't drop any significant amount of oil, or have to become a contortionist to get the bottle in the right position.

I would highly recommend it, with my only reservation being you need to use some reasonable force to suck the oil out of the bottles with it. I never thought of warming it first, which would have definitely made it more viscous.

I imagine that it could be used to do the gearbox as well as the front diff.
